DMU Group (West Midlands) Membership application. 
 
By joining the DMU Group (West Midlands) you are helping to support the current and future operations of our first generation DMU cars at its home base on the Severn Valley Railway. 
 
The group welcomes all and any support and encourages involvement of its members through members AGM, publishing articles and updates in our regular newsletter and involving members in the restoration, conservation, and operation of the unit. 
 
The DMU Group West Midlands is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) which is governed by a constitution and made up of like-minded members. Since 2023 the DMU Group has been a registered charity and is entitled to claim Gift Aid on contributions from UK taxpayers which increases the value from members

Becoming a working member:
 
We are always on the look out for new working members for a range of tasks from interior and exterior tasks through to engine and running gear repairs. 
 
Should you like to assist the DMU Group as a volunteer, you will need to become both a DMU Group Member and a Severn Valley Railway Member for insurance purposes, once you become these please contact the SVR Volunteer Liasion Office at Bewdley who will point you towards the group.
